    Hello colleagues,

Thanks to those of you who attended the live CAS Updates & Policy Review webinar held on July 9. The webinar recording and slide deck are now available and can be found in the Community library.

Based on some of the received questions, below is some follow up information:

    • Deferred Decision Code Policy: Applicants should only be granted deferrals if they meet the requirements of the Deferred Decision Code Policy. See page 87 of the PharmCAS School Manual to review the policy in full.
    • Pixel Tracking: The “Add Pixel Tracking” button is located under the Branding section of the Configuration Portal which does not require a program to be reopened if already submitted and approved for the 2025-2026 cycle. Pixel Tracking can be added or edited at any anytime during the cycle.
    • Post-Launch Configuration Portal Changes:
      • After cycle launch, schools can make edits under the Branding section at any time. This includes your home page instructional text, pixel tracking, and header image.
      • Edits or additions to other features like custom questions, prerequisites, and documents are more limited and will need to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. See the Configuration Portal Help Center for additional guidance. Please contact Nicole Iarossi niarossi@liaisonedu.com for assistance.
    • Removal of iThenticate in PharmCAS: See AACP Connect for previously provided information on factors for the decision, applicant implications, and guidance for schools.
    • Removal of Gender Identity and Pronouns Questions: See AACP Connect for previously provided information on applicant data implications, guidance for institutions, and removed question specifics.
    • 2025-2026 Enhancement List: View the complete list of 2025-2026 enhancements in the PharmCAS Community on AACP Connect.

    Thanks,
    Katie
