To be compliant with some recent state-level executive orders, the "Gender Identity" and "Pronouns" questions will be removed from the PharmCAS, PharmGrad, and PharmDirect applications effective Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Programs may choose to add the questions back to the application under custom questions. Please see instructions below.
Applicant Data Implications
- Previously collected applicant responses to these questions will be retained in WebAdMIT.
- On February 26, no new "Gender Identity" and "Pronouns" data will be collected from applicants as the questions will be removed.
Guidance for Institutions Who Still Want to Collect this Information
- Institutions are permitted to add the removed "Gender Identity" and "Pronouns" questions as custom questions.
- If your institution would like to have these questions added to your custom questions, please contact Nicole Iarossi via email (niarossi@liaisonedu.com) as soon as possible to ensure there is continuity in the data collection.

Below are the questions that will be removed from the PharmCAS, PharmGrad, and PharmDirect applications. They were previously located in the "Biographic Information" section of the "Personal Information" quadrant. See screenshots and question language below.
