Attached is the latest PharmCAS applicant volume report as of January 3 versus the same time last year. The total number of applicant accounts in the system declined by -0.8%, and the number of applicants with Submitted status declined by -8%. The total number of applications increased by 0.4%, and submitted applications decreased by -7%. The mean number of submitted applications per applicant changed from 2.59 in 2022 to 2.63 in 2023.
