  • 1.  Evaluating Writing

    Posted 09-05-2024 04:40 PM
    Hello everyone,
We are considering how we evaluate a student's writing ability pre-matriculation.

If your program requires a "live" writing assessment during your interview or at some other point in the admissions process, would you be willing to share what that entails?

If you do require the additional writing assessment or if you use the PharmCAS personal statement, and a student's quality of writing is deemed not acceptable, what are the repercussions? Do you deny the the student, require writing work ahead of matriculation, require writing work alongside the coursework, nothing, etc.?

    Thanks very much!

    All the best,
