This professional elective course is designed to use a book club format to provide the pharmacy student with an introduction to the art of patient care and the issues healthcare providers face regarding their own biases and stereotypes. The purpose of this course is to thoughtfully tackle some of the assumptions we make as health care providers and explore ways to be more thoughtful in our decisions and care of our patients.
