Integrating Social and Cultural Concepts in the Pharmacy Curricula

This webinar explores the institutional, curricular, and structural factors that influence how social and cultural concepts are integrated into pharmacy education. Participants will examine common challenges faced by colleges and schools of pharmacy and review practical, accreditation-aligned strategies for embedding these concepts into both didactic and experiential learning. Emphasis will be placed on actionable approaches that promote consistency, sustainability, and educational impact.

Objectives:

  • Identify at least three institutional challenges impacting the integration of social and cultural concepts in pharmacy education.
  • Describe at least one accreditation-aligned strategy used to support implementing social and cultural concepts within didactic or experiential settings.
