Pharmacists’ roles have evolved globally, with expanded authority in clinical settings as well as non-traditional roles for pharmacy graduates. Pharmacist scope of practice in different countries will be described. Curricular standards evolved globally to equip graduates for a broad spectrum of professional roles, including both clinical and innovative career opportunities will be shared. Teaching and assessment strategies that have been adopted to ensure graduates are ready to practice will also be discussed. The value of international or global health experiences for pharmacy students will be shared also.
