Provide a historical retrospective of pharmacy academics and the SAS section. With that as background, provide insights regarding the future membership structure and direction of our section.

• Provide a historical overview of pharmacy and graduate education, in a SAS context.
• Provide a historical overview of the SAS section
• Identify and discuss previous and current trends of SAS membership
• Offer perspective and speculation regarding the future of the SAS section
