Hosted by the Public Health SIG
Training student pharmacists on emergency preparedness may impact their skills to engage in emergency response activities. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have recommended six domains for emergency preparedness and these may serve to inform curricular content for pharmacy schools. The Covid 19 pandemic has highlighted the many weaknesses of our healthcare system. This is an opportunity to focus pharmacist training in this area. This webinar will share findings from a subsection of pharmacy programs about the emergency preparedness content in their curricula.
