Hosted by the Chemistry Section
Knowledge of medicinal chemistry provides the foundation for the understanding of pharmacological activity, thereby contributing to defining the pharmacist as the drug expert on the healthcare team. However, the connection between medicinal chemistry foundational principles and the clinical knowledge required of pharmacists, as described in the AACP COEPA Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs), requires clearer definition. In this webinar, we will present an approach to this problem and provide concrete examples that can be incorporated into a medicinal chemistry course.
