AJPE's First 200 Manuscripts of 2026: What Can be Learned From Our Submissions?

When:  May 28, 2026 from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM (ET)

As the first 7000 pages of the year were reviewed, the AJPE editors documented their observations and decisions. During this session, we will share those observations with the goal of aiding future scholarly submissions to the journal.

Objectives:

  • Explain the updates to our review process
  • Provide an overview of the decisions made
  • Share general strengths from manuscripts that successfully entered peer review
  • Explain common challenges in manuscripts that were not published with us
  • Provide resources to assist authors in scholarly submissions in education
