Hello colleagues,On Monday evening, the Liaison team discovered a technical issue that affects PharmCAS programs that have the Prerequisite feature set up in the Configuration portal. Unfortunately, the issue is preventing some applicants from submitting their PharmCAS application. At this time, the Liaison development team is still working on a solution. Once the issue is resolved, staff will share an update with applicants and schools. If your institution has the November 1 final (enforced) deadline, then you were contacted yesterday evening with this information and your program deadline was extended to November 3 to allow applicants who may be trying to submit by the deadline to still apply once the issue is resolved. If your institution opted to set a non-binding priority (preferred) deadline of November 1 and your school has the Prerequisite feature set up in the Configuration portal, this system glitch may have impacted some of your applicants from applying by the priority deadline. It will be up to each school to determine if they would like to make any exceptions in this case. You are encouraged to contact your applicant pool directly with any instructions. If your institution does not have the Prerequisite feature set up in the Configuration portal, then your program was not affected.A related announcement was also posted on PharmCAS social media. Thanks!
