Currently manages Office of Experiential Education (OEE) operations and campus-based Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs and APPEs) for Doctor of Pharmacy Students at Creighton University. Also maintains CDE and works as a Lifestyle Modification Coach with Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Program, which involves working as a patient coach for employees enrolled in the program - emphasis is lifestyle modification to decrease cardiovascular risk and improve health and well-being.
Background includes seven years of experience working in ambulatory care at the VA in Lincoln in a split-funded position with Creighton. Provided services in anticoagulation, hypertension, lipids, and diabetes management while precepting students in this environment. In 2002, transitioned to Office of Experiential Education at Creighton with the development of the distance-based Doctor of Pharmacy Degree and worked with overseeing the scheduling of distance-based APPEs for 13 years.
