Defining Competencies for Assessment Leaders in Pharmacy Education

This webinar builds on the competencies defined in the AJPE article, "A Modified Delphi Process to Define Competencies for Assessment Leads Supporting a Doctor of Pharmacy Program." (2016 Dec 25;80(10):167. doi:10.5688/ajpe8010167). The authors of the article will do a brief review of the competencies and offer ways assessment leaders can begin to develop plans for developing these competencies.

Objectives:

  • Identify 12 competencies for assessment leads in pharmacy education.
  • Evaluate one's own level of competence and determine areas of strength and areas of potential for growth.
  • Identify opportunities and resources to help develop competence in these assessment domains.
