About the New 2020 Admissions Workshop

    • The 2020 Admissions Workshop will focus on the theme of Leadership in Enrollment Management.
    • The workshop is scheduled on Friday, July 17 (8:00 am-5:00 pm) and Saturday, July 18 (8:00 am-1:00 pm), and will be followed by the inaugural Student Recruitment Event (2:00-5:00 pm).
    • A new AACP Admissions Workshop Advisory Committee has revamped the 2020 program to 1) promote a greater alignment with AACP Strategic Priority #1 relative to enriching the applicant pipeline and 2) enhance the professional development and leadership skills of personnel in the areas of admissions, recruitment, and student affairs.
    • Workshop attendees will participate in highly interactive sessions and learn how to successfully move their program's student recruitment and admissions processes forward and manage change in an age of disruption.
    • Dynamic speakers in and outside of pharmacy will help attendees navigate the current enrollment challenges facing the academy.
    • Deans, faculty, and staff at all levels who are involved in admissions, recruitment, and student affairs are encouraged to attend.
    • A series of free PharmCAS, WebAdMIT, and PCAT webinars will be scheduled in the months leading up to the Admissions Workshop, so that all can view and access these valuable updates. (Webinar details will follow soon.)
    • Due to the restructured program, there will no separate call for other types of workshop proposals, however, we welcome your ideas for future webinars and the 2021 Admissions Workshop program at any time.
    • Additional details and workshop registration will be available in spring 2020.

Please contact us at pharm4me@aacp.org with questions. We look forward to receiving your microsession proposals!
