PharmCAS Community

Hello colleagues,

Programs that wish to extend their program application deadline for ALL applicants are asked to contact the PharmCAS team (Nicole Iarossi or Melissa Keaveney) and/or AACP (Katie Owings Bruce or Emily Riley) via email with the request. The PharmCAS and AACP teams will make these updates both within the application and on your PharmCAS School Directory page. (Admission officers may also need to extend the supplemental deadline date, if required by the institution).

To ensure there is no down time for applicants to apply, report to AACP and PharmCAS any changes to the deadline date at least 1 business day prior to the published deadline. However, now that we are on the 3.X platform, we can reopen the deadline after it has closed, if desired. The new extended deadline must be selected from the list of remaining deadline options for PharmCAS (no later than June 3^rd). Note that applicants have the ability to start a new PharmCAS application through June 3^rd.

We do not send out notices for individual program deadline extensions, so you are asked to promote this change on your end. We do send an email out to all applicants in the system before each upcoming deadline and direct them to the school directory to verify all school deadlines. We also post messages to PharmCAS social media accounts for the same reason.
