  • 1.  Online Courses During Covid-19

I wanted to see if anyone has any feedback regarding online lab requirements during Covid-19.  I was hoping you could share some of your processes with us.  Here are my questions:

If you normally require applicants to take required prerequisite labs in person only, how are you managing the in person requirement during the Covid-19 pandemic if schools may or may not be offering them in person?  They may be only offering them online.

And, if a student had already taken their labs online prior to Covid-19 and not in person, have you adjusted your policies for the students and the in person requirement? Are you accepting those previous online labs or are you having them retake the labs, even if they would still be online.

    Thanks, everyone.

    Hi Angela,

On the COVID-19 page of the PharmCAS website, you may find the Pharmacy Admission Policies section helpful. In this section, you can view the COVID-19 Pharmacy School Admission Policies report and COVID-19 Pharmacy Admissions Summary report that includes a summary of online course policies as of the end of the spring 2020 term.

    Thanks,
    Katie
