Attached are the latest PharmCAS volume and colleges attended data for the current 2018-2019 cycle to date. While the percentage of applicants with In-progress status has increased by 9.0%, PharmCAS applicants with Verified status have decreased by 4.9% and applications (designations) have decreased by 19.3% as compared to the same point in time last year. Applicants are applying to fewer institutions on average: 2.74 versus 3.16 last year. As a result, the mean number of applicants per program remains significantly down: 300.7 in April 2019 versus 401.6 in April 2018. Some additional volume is expected before the end of the cycle in June.
Please continue to frequently update your admission decisions in WebAdMIT and contact staff directly, if questions.
