2017-2018 PharmCAS Applicant Data Report - New!
AACP invites you to download the new PharmCAS Applicant Data Report (PDF) for the 2017-2018 cycle, as attached. The report provides applicant and application data for the most recent admissions cycle, as well trend data for past cycles. It is intended to make the academic and demographic profile of the full and accepted pool more accessible. Data in this report may differ from WebAdMIT and other AACP reports due to differences in how the data were collected, organized, and verified.
2017-2018 Decision Reports for Shared Applicants – Live!
The Decision Reports in WebAdMIT are now live for all and are based on the decision codes assigned to applicants by colleges and schools of pharmacy. Decision reports are enabled by mid-October following the end of every cycle. Use these reports to determine where else your applicants applied and the final admission decision submitted by the other programs. View the WebAdMIT Report Manager page for more information.
School Reports – Anytime!
You have the ability to run school-specific reports about your applicant pool at any time via WebAdMIT.
New Report for AACP Institutional Research - Coming Soon!
The primary WebAdMIT contacts at each PharmCAS institution will receive an automated email from Liaison later this month about a new school-specific report, known as the "Application Pool Survey" report. Download this new school report as soon as it is received and use it to submit your applicant data to AACP later this fall for use in the annual Profile of Pharmacy Students. The Application Pool Survey report will only be available via email and not as a report option in WebAdMIT. It will replace "Report 17", also known as the "AACP Summary" report. The AACP institutional research team will soon provide more details about this process. 2018-2019 Volume to Date
Below is PharmCAS applicant data as of October 1, 2018 versus on the same date last year.
- Submitted Applicants: 5057 (2017) vs. 5328 (2018) +5% Change
- Verified Applicants: 4275 (2017) vs. 4873 (2018) +14% Change
- All Applicant Accounts: 15201 (2017) vs. 14961 (2018) -2% Change
FYI - AACP staff has identified a discrepancy in the application (designation) data generated via AACP's portal in WebAdMIT and is currently working with Liaison to resolve. As a result, application and regional/district data for the current cycle to date are not yet available. Preliminary data suggests that there has been a decline in the number of applications, which is likely due to the increase in the number of Early Decision applicants and programs. More information will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
