    Hello colleagues,

    The Configuration Manager Portal for the PharmCAS 2019-2020 application cycle is now live! The message below was emailed directly to the primary PharmCAS contact at each institution by Liaison. If you are unsure who your institution's primary contact is or the primary contact person has changed, please let us know as soon as possible via CAS@aacp.org.

    The recording of yesterday's Configuration Portal webinar demonstrating new features can be accessed mkeaveney@liaisonedu.com?registrantKey=4429213666400942091&type=ATTENDEEEMAILRECORDINGLINK" target="_blank" rel="noopener">here.

    ACCESSING THE PORTAL
    This message was sent to the primary PharmCAS contact at each institution. All primary users must login to the special Prelaunch WebAdMIT environment  to access the Configuration Portal and update their Program Pages for the 2019-2020 PharmCAS cycle by June 21, 2019.

    Use the Prelaunch WebAdMIT link for Configuration Portal updates only. Any other changes or updates made in Prelaunch WebAdMIT will not be pulled into the live WebAdMIT environment, such as new user accounts and workgroups. Only use this special URL until configuration period closes. Once the 2019-2020 application is live, access WebAdMIT through the usual URL.

    Prelaunch WebAdMIT URL: https://prelaunch.webadmit.org/
    Username: {Your email address}
    Password: Same password you use to login to the regular WebAdMIT environment.

    First time logging into WebAdMIT? Please contact Nicole Iarossi at niarossi@liaisonedu.com.

    To access the Configuration Management Portal:

    • Log into the Prelaunch WebAdMIT using your standard WebAdMIT account.
    • Select the "Management" panel located on the left-hand toolbar.
    • Click "CAS Configuration Portal" to open the Configuration Manager in a new tab.

    If you do not see the Management panel after logging into WebAdMIT, you do not have WebAdMIT Administrator privileges. Please reach out to your primary institutional user and/or PharmCAS staff (Nicole Iarossi/Melissa Keaveney) at Liaison for guidance.

    WHICH PARTS OF THE APPLICATION CAN BE CONFIGURED?

    Schools can customize the design of the program home page and application in several ways:

    • Brand your page with an image and color scheme (recommended);
    • Add instructional text to the home page to guide applicants (required);
    • Enter custom (program-specific) questions for applicants (optional);
    • Identify document upload requirements for your program (optional);
    • List prerequisite courses, so applicants can match their coursework to them (optional).

    Consider limiting the number of custom requirements to minimize the admissions burden on applicants.

    Completed Program Pages for the 2018-2019 cycle will automatically roll over into the 2019-2020 cycle and be available for editing. Regardless of whether information has changed, carefully review your Program Page for accuracy before submitting it.
