RE: PharmCAS Volume Update: May 2019

Attached are the latest PharmCAS volume and colleges attended data for the current 2018-2019 cycle to date. While the percentage of applicants with In-progress status increased by 6.7%, PharmCAS applicants with Verified status have decreased by 4.8% and applications (designations) have decreased by 18.9% as compared to the same point in time last year. Applicants are applying to fewer institutions on average: 2.76 versus 3.20 last year.

FYI – Due to recent changes by Liaison to selected, association-level reports across all centralized application services (CAS), AACP cannot currently calculate the mean number of applicants per program by district, public/private, deadline, or program structure for May 2019 versus May 2018. Updated data will be provided as soon as it's available.

Please continue to frequently update your admission decisions in WebAdMIT and contact staff directly, if questions. Thank you.

    Hi Libby,

How does a non-faculty, pharmacy staff get added to the AACP Connect?  Does she need to join AACP as a member?  Is there a membership fee/due for non-faculty members?  We have a new staff person in admissions who I want to be included in this email.

I looked on the AACP website for info but I can't find it.

    Thanks,

    Conrad

    Hi Conrad,

You can email me directly (eriley@aacp.org) for more assistance. Non-AACP members are able to join the PharmCAS Community within AACP Connect, but I must add them to the system manually.

    Thanks,
    Emily
