    Dear colleagues,

The School Directory pages for the 2021-2022 application cycle are now open for editing through June 15, 2015. AACP staff has gathered Google Analytics Data to help participating schools understand how many hits their respective PharmCAS Directory pages have received since the launch of the new PharmCAS website and School Directory in July 2020.

The message below (including the noted attachments) was emailed directly to the primary user(s) at each institution by AACP. We hope you find this helpful as you are making updates to your pages and think about ways to increase your page views in the future.

    Thank you,
    Taylor

    Dear colleagues,

AACP staff has gathered Google Analytics data to help you understand how many hits your PharmCAS Directory pages have received since the new website and School Directory launched in July 2020.

The attached program-specific report (PDF) was generated through Google Analytics for the period of July 18, 2020 - April 20, 2021. If your institution has more than one School Directory page on the PharmCAS site, you will receive multiple reports. Below are definitions to help you interpret the data:

    • Page views: The total number of page views.
    • Unique page views: The combined number of page views by the same user on the same page during the same session.
    • Average time on a page: Average length of time spent on a page.
    • Entrances: The first page that someone viewed during a session.
    • Bounce rate: The percentage of sessions where your page is the only one viewed.
    • % Exit: The percentage of sessions where your page is the last one viewed.
    • Page value: Not relevant to PharmCAS, no commerce goals set.

You will also find a table of national data attached for comparison purposes. This data includes the mean, median, and range for all directory pages grouped by district and type.

If you would like to increase your page views in the future, we suggest you try the following:

    • Include a link to your Directory page on your institutional website.
    • Include a link to your Directory page within your communications to applicants and prospects.
    • Promote your Directory page on social media by tagging @PharmCAS or using the following suggested hashtags:  #PharmCAS, #PharmD, #pharmacy, #pharmacyschool, #futurepharmd, #futurepharmacist, #pharmacystudent, and #pharmacist.
    • Share and comment on @PharmCAS posts on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

We hope you find this information helpful! Please don't hesitate to contact us at CAS@aacp.org, if questions.
