Yes, that is correct. The Admissions Workshop and Student Recruitment Event will
NOT be offered as part of the 2020 Annual Meeting in Long Beach and have been postponed until spring 2021. We regret any disappointment this decision may bring and would be happy to provide additional details about the rationale for this decision, as needed. Please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Subject: Workshop and Recruitment Event Update
Libby,
Just to be sure I'm understanding this correctly, there will not be an Admission Workshop at all on Friday and Saturday of the 2020 Summer Annual Meeting in Long Beach, CA.
Sincerely,
Jon

On behalf of AACP staff, we hope you are well during these turbulent times and are writing to provide an update on the 2020 Admissions Workshop focused on leadership in enrollment management, as well as the AACP Pharmacy Student Recruitment Event (#Pharm4MeSRE).
After careful consideration, AACP has decided to decouple these programs from the 2020 Annual Meeting and move them to a combined, stand-alone event in Southern California in spring 2021 (dates and location TBD). We will share more details as soon as they become available and hope you will consider joining us for this rescheduled event.
In lieu of an on-site recruitment event, AACP is working with our partner, CareerEco, to offer a series of new virtual recruitment fairs for schools in mid-May, June, July, and August 2020 in addition to one on September 30, 2020. Schools will soon have the option of registering for these virtual fairs for a fee (pricing TBA). More details will follow in the next few days.
No decision has been made to date regarding the rest of the 2020 Annual Meeting. The AACP Board is expected to make a decision by the end of the month.
FYI - Staff is considering alternative (non admissions) programming themes for the workshop at the 2021 Annual Meeting in Toronto on topics such as crisis management or well-being. For 2022 and beyond, the Admissions Workshop may return under a new name as part of the Annual Meeting or continue as a stand-alone program, similar to the AACP Institute. Of course, no decisions have been made on future years and we have plenty of time.
We welcome any questions you may have about this decision and wish you well during this unprecedented time.
