Hello colleagues,
For those institutions participating in early decision, this is a friendly reminder that the early decision deadline for applicants is September 4, 2018. This means that any applicants who do not move to a Complete or Verified status by 11:59 pm EDT on September 4, 2018 will automatically be set to the decision "Return Early Decision to Regular Pool" and able to apply to additional programs beginning on September 5.
Note: Complete status = Applicants who have designated your program; have submitted their application, fee payment, and all official U.S. transcripts through Spring 2018 to PharmCAS; and are in the verification queue. PharmCAS gives priority attention to verification for early decision applicants. Full application information will be visible to schools in WebAdMIT as soon as they are verified.
Programs must enter decision codes for Early Decision candidates into WebAdMIT by no later than 11:59 pm EDT on October 19, 2018. If an early decision admission code is not indicated by October 19, the applicant will automatically be returned to your regular applicant pool and will then allowed to apply to additional programs. Coding applicants in decision code "Return Early Decision to Regular Pool" will trigger the release of those applicants back to the regular applicant pool on a nightly basis prior to October 19.
The following decision codes will lock Early Decisions applicants and prevent them from being released to the regular applicant pool and applying elsewhere.
- Offer Accepted
- Offer Made
- Declined Offer
- Deferred
- Matriculated
The following decision codes will release Early Decisions applicants and allow them to apply to other programs as part of the regular applicant pool.
- None
- Denied
- Wait List
- Received/Under Review
- Incomplete/Application Not Reviewed
- Withdrew
- Withdrawn after Matriculation
- Rescinded
- Return Early Decision to Regular Pool (Releases applicant prior to Oct. 19)
